The Mermaid Shoot

In October 2009, I had the distinct pleasure of doing an underwater shoot with Annaliese Moyer, who was bequeathed a stage magician’s tank and started doing a series of photographs of women dressed as mermaids. We got to bring along our own props, and my goal was sort of steampunk/adventurer mermaid (I even made the top to suit).

Annaliese is clearly a wizard, so this a small sample of the great photos that resulted. The second mermaid in the last four shots is Liz Argall, who is an all-around excellent person (and not just because she introduced me to Annaliese).
